The Russell McVeagh Disclosure Service is an independent whistleblowing service managed by Deloitte in Australia. Russell McVeagh offer this service as another channel for reporting any behaviours you experience or see that you feel are unacceptable and do not align with Russell McVeagh's values. This includes:

  • Bullying (Worksafe NZ's guide for employees on bullying here)
  • Harassment
  • Discrimination
  • Sexual harassment
  • Physical or sexual assault
  • Working conditions
  • Team culture issues (red flags for you might be things like your self-confidence dropping, dreading coming to work, not feeling valued or feeling less valued than others in the team etc)
  • Health and safety issues
  • Abuse of power 
  • Fraud, theft or corruption
  • Misconduct 
  • Unethical behaviour
  • Use of Russell McVeagh IT systems for inappropriate purposes or for personal advantage
  • Breach of Russell McVeagh policies or the law
  • Conduct that is detrimental to Russell McVeagh's financial position or reputation

Russell McVeagh take this reporting channel seriously and commit to review all reports and initiate an investigation where appropriate.

Disclosures made using this service can be made confidentially or completely anonymously.

If you wish to make a disclosure and are unable to do so using this service, please contact Russell McVeagh's Disclosure Protection Officer, Jenny Hirst. The Disclosure Protection Officer is responsible for protecting you from personal disadvantage as a result of making a disclosure. Any person can seek advice from the Disclosure Protection Officer prior to, during or after making a disclosure. The Disclosure Protection Officer can also act as an advocate for you during the disclosure process.

This confidential service is offered as just one of many ways to report any issues. There are multiple ways you can talk to, seek help for or report issues, including the Russell McVeagh independent Benestar counselling service, the Law Society's Law Care service, the Police, or to your manager/partner, Board Chair/CEO, the HR or Inside Out team, the Ethics Committee or Health Nurse.

The service is just one of the many initiatives Russell McVeagh is implementing as part of their journey to building a safe, inclusive and people-focused culture.
